Grammar: منذ + Present Tense
📌 1. منذ + present tense = has been ... since/for
Arabic uses present tense + منذ to express ongoing duration (unlike English which uses present perfect).
أَعمَل في المَطعَم مُنذُ سَنتَين. (I have been working in the restaurant for two years.)
تَدرُس العَرَبِيَّة مُنذُ ثَلاث سَنَوات.
📌 2. Past Set Phrases (lexical chunks)
Used for completed experiences. Students learn these as fixed phrases before the full past tense unit.
عَمِلت في مَطعَم الشَّهر المَاضي.
