Past tense set phrases for sport results: فاز بـ، خَسِر، تعادَل — these are your first systematic encounter with past tense forms in D5 (D5 is where past tense is formally introduced). Using them here as lexical chunks previews the full system in Lesson 3. Admiration: يُعجِبُني (Form IV: pleases me/I admire), أُعجَب بـ (Form IV active). Sport rules: يجب على اللاعبين أَن + subjunctive.
