Text 2: Two siblings describe their family — matching task: match each statement to the correct sibling (or neither). 6 statements, 4 marks. True/false: 4 statements about the family. 4 marks. Both texts played twice. Remaining 4 marks: write 2 Arabic words you heard that you understood (any 2 from text).

Part B — Reading and Writing (30 marks)
Reading (10 marks): A 70-word home and family description (partly vowelled). 6 comprehension questions in Arabic (full sentence answers). Includes one opinion question: "ماذا يحب في بيته؟" Writing Q1 (5 marks): Label 5 items in a room picture in Arabic. Writing Q2 (15 marks): Write 60–80 words describing your home and family. Mark scheme: Task Completion (5) — home described + family described + opinion given. Range (5) — variety of structures and vocabulary. Accuracy (5) — grammar and agreement.

Individual topic conversation while others complete written tasks. your partner asks 3–4 questions from the topic conversation card (same questions as Lesson 11 preparation).
