All texts played twice.

Part B — Reading and Writing (30 marks)
Reading (10 marks): A 75-word school description article (partly vowelled). 6 comprehension questions including one opinion question and one "how do you know?" question. Writing Q1 (5 marks): Fill in a school registration form in Arabic (name, age, nationality, subjects studied, favourite subject). Writing Q2 (15 marks): Write 70–90 words. Task: Write an email to a new student joining your school, telling them about school life. Include: subjects, timetable, rules, your opinion. Format: email. Mark scheme: Task Completion (5), Range (5), Accuracy (5).

Individual role play + one topic conversation question: Role play (6 marks): you are a new student. your partner asks you about your timetable, favourite subjects, and one school rule. You must communicate 5 pieces of information (5 × 2 marks, but total capped at 6 for role play). Wait — role play is 5 × 2 = max 10 but scaled: 3 marks communication, 3 marks accuracy. Topic question (4 marks): "ما رأيك في مدرستك؟ هل تحب المدرسة؟ لماذا؟" Marked: 2 marks communication (relevance, development), 2 marks accuracy (range, grammar).
