Text 1 (45 sec): A person asks for directions to the train station — 8 multiple choice (3 options): which direction they turn at the traffic lights, what they pass on their left, how far the station is, what type of ticket they should buy, which platform their train leaves from, how long the journey takes, which transport they recommend, their opinion on the city's public transport. Text 2 (40 sec): Two people discuss their town — matching: match statement to Person A, Person B, or Both. 6 statements about places, transport and opinion of the town. Text 3 (50 sec): A tourist guide describes a city — select TWO correct statements from five. Focus on place names, architectural features, and transport advice. All texts played twice.

Go through all answers. Focus on: (1) Direction distractors — "The speaker said انعطف يميناً (turn right) but some You chose 'turn left' — why? Because اليسار and اليمين sound similar at speed if You haven't drilled the distinction. Practise: repeat اليسار three times then اليمين three times — feel the difference." (2) Transport preposition recognition — "The speaker said بالقطار — did you hear the بِـ prefix? If you missed it, you may have thought they said 'train' as a noun rather than 'by train'." (3) Place name recognition — "Which Arabic place names appeared in Text 3? Were any unfamiliar? How did you handle unfamiliar place names?" (Use context to infer what type of place it is.)
