Opinion phrases: في رأيي + sentence. أعتقد أنَّ + subject + predicate. Lam-anna (لأنَّ): connects to a noun or pronoun; lam-an (لأن): connects to a verb. Distinction: أُحِبّ الرياضيات لأنَّها سهلة (because it is easy — pronoun) vs أُحِبّ الرياضيات لأنَّ المُعلِّمة ممتازة (because the teacher is excellent — noun). Graded intensifiers: جِدًّا (very), قَليلاً (a little), نَوعاً ما (somewhat).

Study 5 opinion phrases on cards: في رأيي، أعتقد أنَّ، أظنَّ أنَّ، يبدو لي أنَّ، أشعر بـ. Drill each phrase alone (choral). Then attach to simple statements: "في رأيي، المدرسة مهمة." "أعتقد أنَّ الواجب المنزلي مفيد." "يبدو لي أنَّ الرياضيات صعبة جداً." you copy 3 opinion sentences into books and write your own 2. Focus: لأنَّها vs لأنَّ — demonstrate the difference with 4 example pairs. You practise 3 each.

Write an extended paragraph (70–90 words) about their school: opinions on subjects, teachers, timetable, follow-up practice, the school building. Must include: at least 3 different opinion phrases, at least 4 reasons using لأنَّ/لأنَّها, at least 2 intensifiers (جداً/قليلاً), one comparison (أكثر من — more than).
